Well, it's been a little while since my last entry, but I wanted to let you know about an unexpected gift I received the other day.  Grace Bonney, the creator of the hugely popular blog Design Sponge, came through the Museum the other day and I was introduced.  She checked out the gallery and my work.  Well, to my surprise, she featured my pottery on her blog!!  Check it out here.  The response has been amazing and business is booming so Grace, if you're reading, THANK YOU!

My feature in the Gallery is over and I made some good sales as well as great connections with interested visitors.  I feel so fortunate to have been given a chance to show my work at such a great location.

In other news, I have some new pieces to add to the ol' diner line:  espresso cups!

The exterior is unglazed except for the lip, for your lip!  They fit under a portafilter (for you coffee geeks, like me), and the larger one is still big enough for a little extra hot water for an Americano.  I love them and I think you will too.  Tell your friends.  Tell your family.  Tell your friends who own coffee shops and want to have really cool espresso cups!  In fact, if you order a dozen in the next 7 days, I'll throw in 4 more for free!!  I can't believe I just said that.  They make great little salt cellars as well.  $30 each.  What?!  I know, it's a little steep, but these are made one at a time by one person and you can pass these on to your kids!  Heirloom quality.  Take this to your local coffee shop instead of using a paper cup.  Multiply that by 365, and $30 doesn't seem so bad.  And you'll be the most bad-ass looking coffee drinker in the neighborhood.  More soon!
